ORIGINAL STAR LIVE BANDS
Angie Brown – South London singer and songwriter, probably best known to most as the incredible voice behind Bizarre Inc’s 1993 smash hit, ‘I’m Gonnna Get You’. She has also featured on numerous other records. She performs constantly around the UK, captivating audiences with a range of dance and house tracks. The Commitments – Dave Finnegan with his sensational show & his own 8 piece band behind him performing all the hits from the film & much, much, more! On their ongoing journeys they continue where the film left off.
Jimmy James and the Vagabonds – You will see vintage soul and an infectious style from this 60s supergroup. Jimmy James came to England and joined the multi-racial Vagabonds and the band became a leading live attraction in the 60s. Chart success came with ‘Red Red Wine’ and later in 1976 with another set of Vagabonds ‘I'll Go Where Your Music Takes Me’ and ‘Now Is The Time’.
Audley Anderson – Soul singer Audley is on
at Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
e of the UK's top live Soul acts. Audley has supported some of the cream of the UK soul scene, such as Omar and Don-E as well as top US acts - Boyz II Men & Tyrese. Marvin L. Ruffin – Born in the suburbs of Detroit Michigan during the time that soul ruled the airways and Motown music was 'the sound of young America'. Marvin has opened up for The Stylistics, Dionne Warwick, and been involved with the "Dancing in the Streets" tour with Martha Reeves. Angelo Starr & the Team – With Edwin's passing in April 2003, younger brother Angelo, an original member of The Team has taken over on lead vocals. They have a reputation for consistently outstanding live performances.
Live Tributes and Supports
Voices with Soul – A British Soul Girl Group notable for reaching the finals of the first UK series of the television talent show The X Factor in 2004. They have been on tours around the UK with the X Factor, G4. Sing Baby Sing – Fantastic Stylistics tribute band.
